Meet Our Team

David Moores, DVM

Dr. Moores is a Covington native who attended St. Paul High School and Mississippi State University.  He then attended LSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2003.  Since graduating from LSU, Dr. Moores has been working in small animal private practice as well as emergency medicine and surgery.   He returns to work in West St. Tammany Parish after spending the last 2 ½ years working at a veterinary referral hospital in Metairie.

Dr. Moores, his wife Celeste, and his son live in Covington along with their two dogs.  He is a member of Trinity Church of Covington and enjoys cycling, running, and swimming. He has completed several marathons and half-Ironman races.  Dr. Moores loves spending time with his wife, son, and family. Dr. Moores is also a long-suffering Saints fan!

Celeste Moores

Celeste is Dr. Moores' wife and she can occasionally be seen at the front desk greeting patients as well as hiding out back doing all the behind-the-scene paperwork!

Celeste is also a Covington native who holds a Masters from Louisiana Tech University. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also puts up with her husband's obsession with football.
